Whether you've just picked up your first chess set, or have been honing your skills for years, Wallington Chess Club welcomes members of all abilities.
Founded in 1895, Wallington Chess Club has been a constant member of the Surrey County Chess Association and has entered teams in the Surrey League for many years.
We enter teams in the Surrey and Croydon leagues and have an internal club championship. Our adult and junior club nights are Wednesday evenings, and we welcome players of all ages and abilities.
Get Involved
Our adult session takes place every Wednesday from 19:30 - 22:00. The club is closed throughout August and the last two weeks of December.
Players are welcome to arrive and leave at times that suit them.
Notice
We have been operating under COVID restrictions and guidance required by our venue and recommended by the chess associations. Members must comply with these requirements for the time being although we would expect them to be changed in the near future.
